Qurban Project in Uganda
The World Civilisation Research Society or Kelab Generasi Pemuda Tamadun Dunia (GPTD) is a youth organization registered with the Registrar of Youth Organization of Malaysia (ROY) with registration number PPBM 6353/10.
GPTD is active in developing human capital through history studies, cultural, volunteerism and social service activities in Malaysia and internationally.
This qurban program aims at distributing Qurban and Akikah meat to needy muslims in Uganda.
GPTD together with Cocos Island Cooperative Society Ltd. will perform Qurban and Akikah for the year 2019.
For smooth execution for the project, meetings were made among us including IUIU representatives which arrived at mutual consent for cooperation.
IUIU had succesfully organised Qurban and Akikah projects alone since 2015 despite few donations received. This is the first project promoted by GPTD in collaboration with IUIU for better appeal to the world in assisting muslims in Uganda.
The discussion on the implementation of Qurban in Uganda 1440 H / 2019 was held on 7 December 2018
